After moving to the South Bay in 2007 from the Washington, DC area, I was looking for an organization with which to volunteer so that I could give back. Little did I know that Sandpipers would actually give back to me in so many ways. After joining in 2009, I continue to enjoy Sandpipers and the many and diverse number of local South Bay organizations we touch – and all of it is impressively volunteer driven! Along the way, I have developed so many friendships as an added bonus and have the privilege of volunteering with such an amazing group of women. I am so pleased and honored to serve as Director of Fall Events this year, my main responsibilities being the Holiday Homes Tour which includes tours of beautiful homes as well as our Café and Boutique. Holiday Homes Tour is not just fun, but it is our largest fundraiser and enables us to continue the many wonderful programs we support in the South Bay. I look forward to a great and successful year!
