Rose Ahrens

Being a Sandpiper was something I knew I would eventually do, especially since three of my sisters were already involved in the organization and my mom is a past president. I guess you could say it runs in the family. I find that being a Sandpiper is incredibly rewarding, personally and professionally. The people we get to work with and help is beyond what I could have imagined. This year as Director of Grants and Giving, I look forward to making people more aware of the Sandpiper South Bay Community Fund and Friends of Sandpipers, as well searching out more grant opportunities for Sandpipers. I am honored to serve my community with such a fine organization.
