Save the date: Thursday, September 22nd for the Bellacures Give Back Day – 10% of the day’s proceeds will be donated to Sandpipers.
On behalf of Sandpipers, thank you for your support in making our 84th year such a tremendous success. Your donations to our philanthropic programs and fundraising events, combined with the efforts of our dedicated volunteer members, enabled us to change the lives of those less fortunate living in the South Bay.
Together we clothed less fortunate youth heading back to school, supplied gifts for foster children, brought holiday cheer to underprivileged families, awarded college scholarships to well deserving local students, awarded grants to local nonprofits and so much more. In total, Sandpipers distributed approximately
$500,000 and touched more than 25,000 lives. It is truly amazing to see what a community can do when it comes together to support those less fortunate.
Past President Laura Grabher is competing in a dance competition to raise money and awareness for Sandpipers! Tickets to attend the event are $65. $10 from each ticket Laura sells goes to Sandpipers. Kendra Scott’s Fall 2016 collection launches Wednesday, July 13th. Help us celebrate with an in-store Kendra Gives Back Event benefiting Sandpipers from 5-8 p.m. There will be sips, sweets, and a raffle with a chance to win Kendra Scott jewelry. Please join us by attending this fun event at Kendra Scott Manhattan Beach to help support Sandpipers!
Sandpipers is a Manhattan Beach volunteer women’s organization that is dedicated to serving the needs of the entire South Bay community through a wide array of fundraising events and charitable programs.

Congratulations to Co-Chairs, Laura Stout, Terri Boyle and Gigi Verduzco who did an outstanding job coordinating the Sugar Plum Tree program this year. Through corporate and individual contributions they surpassed their goal and collected over 1,600 gifts for children living in foster care through the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). It was incredible amount of work that made a difference for many children during the holidays.
Thank you to the SPT Chairs and Committee and allwho participated by getting a company involved, by volunteering at the mall or by bringing a gift to the table.

The Holiday Homes Tour is one of Sandpipers’ largest fundraising events of the year that annually attracts more than 2,000 patrons, and garners tremendous support from numerous local businesses and community partners. Celebrate the season by taking a tour of four distinctive South Bay homes exquisitely decorated for the holidays. The homes offer a variety of styles that will generate unique decorating ideas for you to try in your own home.
In addition, we are excited to be revitalizing and rebranding our legacy Boutique and Café as the Sandpipers Holiday Market—focusing on local bites, artisan gifts for the season and expanding the shopping experience with holiday entertainment, including a special visit from Santa Claus on Sunday, December 6 from 11am-1pm.
