Finance VP

In 2018, I made the decision to transition from my career in Finance to becoming a stay-at-home mother to focus my attention on my family and become more involved in my children's lives. With both my kids now in school full time, I have been able to contribute my time to various charities within our community as I am passionate about giving back.

I was first introduced to Sandpipers by my dear friend, Joyce Chaput. Hearing about her experiences within the organization piqued my interest and prompted me to join a few years later. I joined Sandpipers because I want to give back to our community and enjoy meeting new people. Joining in 2020 when everything was "locked down" gave me the opportunity to observe the amazing/hardworking women within the organization come together, collaborate and support one another during the toughest times. The resilience with this group of women I witnessed during my first year continues to inspire me.

Through my short tenure in the organization, I have created meaningful connections, built amazing relationships and learned so many new things while becoming a part of the Sandpipers Family. I am truly grateful for the many experiences I have been able to participate in during my time as a Sandpiper. Most notably, the Sugarplum Committee, being the Assistant to Finance VP - Digital Payments as well as the Scholarship Committee. I am honored to serve on the board as Finance VP for a second year and as part of the leadership group, I look forward to what this year has in store for us.
