What is heart? Well, my 10-year-old daughter and her friends are learning at school what is heart and what makes a great heart. Having heart is something I find at Sandpipers.
I moved to the South Bay from Vancouver, Canada, and I was looking to do more than just work, work, work. I got married, joined a Pilates studio, made some friends, adopted some pets, and became a mom. I was truly blessed with a great life, and it got better when I joined Sandpipers in 2018. My first event was Back to School Shopping and that is when I knew I was meant to be a Sandpiper. Yes, shopping is my favorite activity but having a child tell me that his new shoes will help his feet feel better really tugged at my heart.
This year I am Sandpipers’ Philanthropy VP, and I am very thankful that I can support other female leaders. We can really make a big difference and help a lot of our agency partners and the people in the community. The biggest “feel’ is when I can help others within Sandpipers contribute and it warms my heart that they can also get those same feelings that I do. Come join me at some of our events such as the Holiday Home Tour, the Fashion Show, and many other events. Your auction and café donations, boutique sales and support, help raise funds to support our philanthropic programs. Thank you for making my heart full!
