I joined Sandpipers in 2012 after moving to the South Bay from Australia, I didn’t know anyone in the South Bay and was looking to meet friends and give back to my community. I had no idea that 11 years later I would still be involved in Sandpipers.  It was my privilege to serve as 91st Co President last year and on the Sandpiper Board for 4 years. Many things in Sandpipers have changed in 92 years, yet many things remained the same.  We are still a 100% volunteer organization with a membership that is dedicated to helping those in our community through community service and fundraising events.

I’m excited to be helping to slate the new leadership for Sandpipers next year. We have an amazing group of women who will bring their knowledge, their time and their commitment to Sandpipers. I look forward to meeting and interacting with all of our new members, reconnecting with our over 160 active members and seeing all the amazing things we achieve for our community.
