As this year’s Director of Public Relations, I am excited to finally use my college degree in a field I actually graduated with…and it only took a decade or two!

After growing up in Oregon and moving about the country as an adult, I was happy to find myself living in what I call, “The Sweet Spot” of Southern California. Volunteering has always been a big part of my life, so when I moved to the South Bay, I joined Sandpipers because I was looking to get involved in my local community and meet other like-mindedwoman and heard that this organization could be the perfect match and it has been!

As a Fashion Executive, helping kids shop for new clothes through our Back-to-School shopping program is a personal favorite of mine. There’ nothing better than seeing a child’s eyes light up after getting new shoes and their favorite sports team sweatshirt to show off to their friends! Working with and helping those in need through Sandpipers various programs and events, has motivated me to find more ways to give back and influence others in my life to do the same.

It is an honor to be on the Board this year and work alongside and learn from so many remarkable women!
