Juniors and Pipers
Sandpiper Juniors and Pipers provide excellent opportunities to jumpstart a life of volunteering. Each program cultivates a lifelong spirit of volunteerism, camaraderie, and dedication to helping others in need. With both programs, charitable and philanthropic work is a top priority, and each offers structure to help our volunteers meet fundraising and community service goals. These youth are provided tailored and meaningful volunteer experiences with local organizations and a solid network of community service and philanthropic opportunities.
The Sandpiper Pipers program offers middle-schoolers the perfect stepping stone to making charity a natural part of their lives. They are empowered to make their own decisions but have the support and guidance from Mom Mentors and Pipers’ Class Leaders and a Sandpipers Liaison.
Sandpiper Juniors are preparing for life beyond high school, and volunteering is a healthy, social, and safe environment to develop and mature. Under the guidance of Sandpiper Advisors and a liaison, these young adults are part of many decision-making processes to develop their volunteer activities and, because of that, hone their leadership and public speaking skills while building self-confidence. The program encourages independence of thought, yet teaches the importance of teamwork and fellowship to achieve common goals.
